The greatest joy

My brother used to be a drug addict. We were very disappointed to know about his problem. In all honesty, it is very hard to deal with an addicted person. It is as if their personality changes drastically from good to bad. I am not sure about other addicts, if they get irritated easily, but this is how my eldest brother reacted. He would become out of control when irritated. All we could do is stay away from him and let him calm down. I wonder what his situation is like at this time, since I haven’t heard from my family back home if he had these tantrums these last few months. I hope that he will continue to control his anger. What I think is that he is trying to be a good guy again, since he is now a dad, with a one year old daughter.

None of us siblings have sent him to any drug rehabilitation center because of a lack of financial resources. I have other things which I am taking care of, such as college, high school and elementary students, and some other expenses for my family back home. My hope is that one day I could be able to save enough to send him to drug rehabilitation and have a complete treatment. My husband is cooking Caldeo, a Mexican food. I couldn’t wait to taste it though. I came from downstairs and checked it yet it hasn’t completely cooked. It is kind of cold again here in New Mexico, so I turned on the heater to warm us here. My husband told me last night that yesterday was the first day of Fall Season.
